The Artist Behind Fitz Lyle Studios
As a farmer’s daughter, I grew up surrounded by rural life, developing a deep appreciation for farming, nature and the animals that have always inspired me. After studying at the Royal Agricultural University, my connection to the countryside continued to shape both my life and my artwork.
A self-taught artist, I have always loved drawing and painting, creating pieces inspired by the landscapes, animals and stories around me. Today, I create timeless pet and equine portraits, wedding stationery and illustrated pieces designed to become treasured keepsakes.
Home is shared with my three children and our three dogs — Wilfred the dachshund, and Fergus and Oscar, our black Labradors — who are a constant source of inspiration.
I’m drawn to traditional heirloom pieces, country living and timeless design, but I also love adding a little personality along the way — whether that’s a playful detail, a pop of colour or a touch of pink.
When I’m not creating, you’ll find me enjoying farm life, horse riding, photography and the outdoors that continue to inspire Fitz Lyle Studios.
